In An Introduction to Ally Work we’ll explore the introductory chapter to Jeffrey Raff’s book The Practice of Ally Work.

We’ll engage in a line-by-line reading of the chapter — leaving reflective space for us to discuss, question, and clarify the material as a group.

The intention of this offering is to ground our exploration of ally work in Jeffrey Raff’s text — and to support you in developing your practice — whether you are new or experienced in the work.

The structure of the session: we’ll begin with a minute of quiet, followed by introductions, and then begin the line-by-line reading, with regular opportunities for reflection, commentary, and group dialogue. We’ll close the session with a brief share on what each of us have learned.

We’ll allow the pace of the session to determine how much material we cover, and we’ll pick up in the following session where we left off.

An Introduction to Ally Work takes place once per month, typically on the first Sunday of each month.

Sessions do not have a monetary cost, but ask each person for their attention, contribution to discussion, and presence on camera.
